[FranchiseXray, LLC], a North Carolina limited liability company ("FranchiseXray," "we," "us"), sells research reports on franchise brands. 1. What we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email, and phone (optional); the franchise and market you're researching; budget range, funding plan, timeline, and notes on the order form; and documents you upload or email, such as a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
• Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card number; FranchiseXray does not receive or store full card details. We receive your name, email, billing details, and the last four digits of your card.
• Waitlist and messages: your email address and anything you write to us.
• Website data: basic technical data (such as IP address, browser, and pages visited) collected by our hosting provider [and analytics tool, if any]. [We do not use advertising cookies.]

2. How we use it

• To prepare, deliver, and support the report you ordered.
• To process payments and refunds (see our Refund Policy).
• To email you about your order. Waitlist members get launch updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Who we share it with

• FranchiseXray does not sell customer data. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• We do not share it with franchisors, franchise brokers, sales organizations, or lenders.
• We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under their own privacy and security terms: [form provider], [file storage], Stripe, [email provider], [web host], and [AI provider] for drafting help. We may also disclose it if the law requires, or to protect our rights.

4. Your documents

• Documents you upload are used only for your report.
• We do not reuse them for other customers or publish them.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed to deliver your report. Once your report is delivered, we delete your questionnaire answers, any files you uploaded, and the report itself. The only thing we keep is a minimal record that you bought a Quick Scan (your name, email, the franchise, and the order date), so we can credit it if you later order the Full Report. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number, and Stripe keeps its own payment records as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing [email protected].

6. Security

We use access-controlled accounts, keep uploads in a restricted folder, and limit access to people who prepare your report. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. Your choices

• You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing [email protected].
• You can also ask to see or correct your information, or opt out of non-order emails, by writing to [email protected].
• We will respond within [30] days.
• Residents of some states may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor them as required.

8. Children

Our service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
